UPVC Blue Casing & Filter Pipes IS 12818
UPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Blue Casing and Filter Pipes are specially designed for borewell and tubewell applications and conform to the IS 12818 standard set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). These pipes are lightweight, non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and long-lasting, making them ideal for water extraction in domestic, agricultural, and industrial sectors.

Classifications:-
UPVC Blue Casing & Filter Pipes as per IS 12818 are categorized based on their usage depth and structural strength. These classifications help determine the suitability of pipes for shallow, medium, or deep borewells, ensuring durability, safety, and efficiency in groundwater extraction systems.
CS casing pipes are used for shallow borewells up to 80 meters.
CM casing pipes are suitable for medium-depth borewells from 80 to 250 meters.
CD casing pipes are designed for deep borewells exceeding 250 meters.
RS screen/filter pipes allow water to enter the borewell while filtering sand and silt.
RP riser/plain pipes are used to connect the submersible pump to the surface.
Filter pipes have precision-cut slots for optimal water flow and filtration.
